My name is Mariusz Kowalczuk and my North London customers simply call me ‘Super Mario’.
I am a highly trained and experienced Polish craftsman and handyman, dedicated to quality workmanship and high standards. I take pride in upholding the reputation of my country by working hard, timely, tidy and around my client’s needs whilst quoting fairly.
After years of working under contract I have taken the leap into self-employment and set up MRKPD (Mariusz R. Mariusz remodelled my entire bathroom including removal of old tiles, replastering, laying new tiles to floor and walls, installing a new suite and shower and then wallpapering. When my bathroom needed retiling I found Mariusz in a local facebook group. I was blown away by his hard work, honesty and how tidy everything was left at the end of a day as well as the quality of the final product. He advised and guided me through the process and didn’t put his price up when an unexpected problem arose. I have since used him to wallpaper and paint walls, lay vinyl plank flooring and laminate in the bedrooms. He is hands-on helping to move furniture in restricted spaces and super reliable, clean and tidy. I won’t use anyone else.
Honest, hard-working and respectful – he’s simply the best
I could write a thesis about Mariusz’s skills, kindness, attention to detail, honesty. The list goes on and on. Mariusz did my entire bathroom and did a fantastic job. I bought quite difficult tiles but he took his time in putting everything together to achieve the look I wanted. On a separate project I learnt the hard way when I had cowboy decorators that wasted hundreds of pounds on materials and did an overall poor decorating job which left me feeling very broken but I will always be thankful to Mariusz for assessing the damage and for rectifying it for me. These days you never really know who you are bringing into your home but hand on heart, you cannot get a more honest, hard working, respectful tradesperson than Mariusz. He is a man of his word and the quality of his work is of the highest standard. He has done various types of work for me and there will certainly be more in the future. Highly recommend and I will not go to any other trades-person going forward. He is simply the best.
I could write a book!
I could literally write a book about Mario’s services but in a nutshell, I could not recommend him more highly for his competence, honesty, reliability and the quality of his work. We’ve hired him twice for decorating and complete bathroom renovation and intend to engage him on further home improvements as we know can trust the quality of his work.
